Summary

Creatinine measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of renal diseases and in monitoring renal dialysis.

Principle

Fixed time analysis. Creatinine reacts in alkaline environment with picrate to give  coloured compound whose intensity is proportional to the creatinine concentration in the sample.
